हर खिलाड़ी की कहानी सिर्फ़ Medal से नहीं, उस सफर से बनती है जो उसे Medal तक पहुंचाता है। मौमिता मंडल का सफर भी कुछ ऐसा ही है, बिना सुविधाओं, नंगे पैर और सीमित संसाधनों के बीच अपने सपने को जिंदा रखा। सुबह 3 बजे उठना, घर का काम करना और 2 घंटे ट्रेन से Practice के लिए जाना उनकी रोज़ की मेहनत थी।
आज उनके नाम कई National Medals हैं, Indian Railways में नौकरी है और पिता को चाय की दुकान पर बैठने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती।
लेकिन सपना अभी बाकी है—2028 Olympics में भारत के लिए Medal जीतना।
क्योंकि खिलाड़ी की असली ताकत उसकी जीत नहीं, हार के बाद भी मैदान में लौटने का हौसला होता है।
