कहते हैं, मुंबई वो नगरी है,जहाँ कई साधारण लोग असाधारण बन जाते हैं। लेकिन इसी शहर में करोड़ों ख़्वाब पहचान मिलने से पहले ही टूट भी जाते हैं। लेकिन कमलेश सावंत का ख़्वाब नहीं टूटा। बस उसे पूरा होने में वक्त बहुत लगा।
Kamlesh Sawant, जिन्हें आज लोग Drishyam के Gaitonde के नाम से जानते हैं।
एक चॉल से निकला लड़का थिएटर से शुरुआत की, मिमिक्री की, और करीब 17 साल के संघर्ष के बाद पहली बार बड़े पर्दे पर अपना हुनर को सबके सामने लाया।
लेकिन उसके बाद क्या? क्या सब कुछ बदल गया? बिल्कुल नहीं। फिल्मों में काम तो मिलने लगा, लेकिन जिस पहचान का ख़्वाब था, वो अभी भी दूर थी।
और उस पहचान तक पहुँचने में उन्हें करीब 11 साल और लगे। इस बीच उतार-चढ़ाव आए, पैसे अटके, इंतज़ार लंबा होता गया। लेकिन एक चीज़ नहीं बदली,
वो ख़्वाब… एक्टर बनने का।
